What “CTO” means
“CTO” stands for “Chief Technology Officer.”
The textbook definition would go something like this: A person within a team, company or startup who is responsible for managing its technology infrastructure. That includes deployment, network and system management, integration testing, and developing technical operations.
Differences and similarities
CTOaaS & CTO
The CTOaaS (CTO as a Service) we are providing is different from the traditional “CTO” position in some ways and the same in other ways.
Similarities
We take care of all things tech
We build, manage, deploy and test your frontend and backend
You cannot count on us to make business decisions
You can count on us for advice on technological decisions, UI/UX decisions and creating functional interfaces
Differences
You benefit from our whole team‘s expertise including our UI/UX, product and graphic design team
You won‘t need an external project manager- we have them on board already
You have access to a set of experienced developers (who you never have to manage)
The CTO dilemma
Your startup might have reached the seed stage by now, congratulations!
...but now what?
The traditional way would be to hire a CTO. Depending on your startup‘s goals, you might bite the bullet and pay a full time salary of between 100k – 250k a year, or you‘d end up with a CTO who is available less to cut on costs. On top of that, you might need to hire developers and freelancers with the right skills you need to get your digital product or service to go to market. You would probably need to start managing the team you‘ve built up, meaning you end up spending more time delegating tasks instead of investing it in building your brand, networking and focussing on business development.
Your startup will change the world.
Now it's just a matter of how you‘ll get there.
Do tech right the first time
Avoid investing a cent or a minute more than you should by doing tech right for your startup the first time.
But how? That‘s where we come in.
Cheesy as it sounds, we are experts from all areas within tech including software development for websites, mobile apps (on all platforms!) as well as design (graphic design, UI and UX, product design) and last but not least backend development and DevOps.
We‘ve built digital products ourselves, meaning we have experience in the startup world- you‘re in good hands.
CTO as a Service vs. hiring a CTO

Product and graphic designers there to prototype, develop and design
A team of digital natives by your side with a great range of expertise
Profit from having a project manager on board
Wide range of experienced software developers to attend to demand.
No design and prototyping skills
Limited time available & limited expertise
Little to no management experience and not enough hands to delegate tasks
Need for contracting more skilled individuals
Who can apply?
